ALL POWER REGISTRANTS !!!

Palos POWER will be hosting two FREE clinics. These clinics are not mandatory however we strongly encourage your child to attend one of the two being offered. The main objective of the POWER Clinics are to provide players in the league an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of softball and to get them into the softball spirit for the upcoming season.
 
Last year a new draft process was put into effect and the clinics do carry some weight in the draft ratings but the majority of a players ratings will be come from your child's coach from last year.  For those players who have not played before, it's a great opportunity to be assessed so that coaches can help formulate practice plans and to ensure teams are fair and balanced so all teams have a chance to enjoy a couple victories throughout the year. Although not mandatory, please try and have your child attend so we can make the In-House Recreation league fair and fun for all.
 
The clinics will be held at Shepard High School located at 13049 S. Ridgeland Avenue, Palos Heights, Illinois, 60463.  The POWER Coaches will be assisted by Shepard High School's varsity head coach, Kelsey Clifford, her coaching staff and their varsity team players. The clinics will occur at the following times and dates:

January 25th

• 8U Division - 9AM to 10:45AM
• 10U Division - 11:00AM to 12:45PM
• 12U and 14U Divisions - 1:00PM to 2:45PM

February 1st (Times compressed due to Super Bowl)

• 8U Division - 9AM to 10AM
• 10U Division - 10:15AM to 11:15PM
• 12U and 14U Divisions - 11:30AM to 12:30PM

Please arrive 20 minutes early to sign in.  Also, please bring your glove, bat if you have a special one, and gym shoes.  Upon arrival go to the back of the school and follow the POWER banners.
All girls from all divisions are welcome to participate in one or both of the clinics.
